Contemporary music is not haunted, if you are not afraid to open yourself to the sound. The book and CD "Small Instruments are playing Chopin", shows that entering the world of sound experiments - no matter how old you are - every time you give yourself the opportunity to discover what is yet unknown and to experience new sensations.
The key is a toy piano - a surprising object, still a toy, but also a major instrument used by contemporary musicians and composers. These small pianos, in a good number of twenty different specimens, resound on the album by Small Instruments, who played Chopin's compositions in a manner so innovative and inventive, like no one before. The instrument is also a hero of the book - the world's first presentation of a toy piano music culture, which is also a non-committal guide to the space of experiment in contemporary music.
Musical toys and detailed text complement here each other perfectly. Small instruments are the little things of great significance.
